Privacy

Resavd keeps the posts and links you save so you can sort, search and come back to them. This page says what we store, why, who helps us run it, and how to take it all with you or delete it.

What we store

To stop abuse we keep scrambled (hashed) forms of IP addresses and email addresses for up to 24 hours. They can't be turned back into the originals and aren't stored with your account.

We never store your passwords or sign-in cookies for X, LinkedIn, Instagram or any other site. The extension reads a page only when you press Save or Import, inside your own browser.

Why

To run Resavd for you: sign you in, keep and sort your saves, search them, send the emails you ask for (sign-in codes, your weekly digest if you turn it on, a link to import on a computer), and keep the service safe from abuse. We never sell your data and never use it for ads.

Who helps us run it

To fetch a post's details we visit its public page, as a browser would.

How long we keep it

As long as you have an account. Delete it from Account in the app and everything that's yours goes straight away: your saves, notes, collections, settings, and your waitlist and phone app list entries. Shared post details that hold no one's personal data (a public post's text) stay for others who saved them. Waitlist entries of people who never make an account are deleted within 30 days of us telling them Resavd is open.

Your rights

You can download everything (Account → Take your saves with you) and delete your account at any time. To see, correct or delete anything else, email hello.resavd@gmail.com and we'll reply within 30 days. This applies whether you're covered by the Nigeria Data Protection Act, the GDPR or another law.
