How Resavd works

Resavd keeps the posts you save in one place, sorts them for you, and helps you find them again. Here's where everything lives.

   Save

   Save posts from X, LinkedIn and Instagram with the Resavd button, or paste a link.

   Sorted for you

   Resavd reads each post and files it into a collection by what it's about.

   Find it again

   Open a book on your shelf, or search in your own words.

   Keep it tidy

   Check the ones Resavd wasn't sure about, and put away what you're done with.

The places in Resavd

The same places are at the top of every page on a computer, and in the bar at the bottom on a phone.

• Shelf

  Your home page. Each book is a collection of saves; the ones you use most stand at the front. Your newest saves are listed underneath.

  What you can do here

  • Open a book to see the saves inside it
  • Search for a save by what you remember about it
  • Add a link with the + button
  • Check the loose papers marked “Not sure”

  Every book here is also in your Library.

  Open Shelf

• Library

  All your collections in one bookcase, not only the ones that fit on your shelf. Once you have a dozen or so, similar ones share a labelled shelf.

  What you can do here

  • Find a collection by name
  • Arrange by topic, by most recent, or A to Z
  • Rename a shelf, or move a book to another shelf

  Open any book to go to that collection.

  Open Library

• A collection

  One book opened up: the saves inside it, sometimes split into tabs by topic.

  What you can do here

  • Rename it, or merge it into another collection
  • Select saves to move them, also file them somewhere else, or archive them

  Reached from a book on your Shelf or in your Library.

• Archive

  Saves you've put away, so they stay out of your shelf and searches. Nothing here is deleted.

  What you can do here

  • Put a save back, and it returns to its collection on your shelf

  Saves get here when you archive them from a collection.

  Open Archive

• Account

  Everything about you and your data.

  What you can do here

  • Download a copy of all your saves
  • Set up saving from an iPhone
  • Sign out, or delete your account

  On a computer it's under your initial, top right; on a phone, in the bar at the bottom.

Words you'll see

Save

A post or link you kept. If the original is deleted, any text we saved stays searchable and in your export; pictures and video aren’t kept.

Collection

A group of saves about one thing, like Recipes or Job search tips. Drawn as a book.

Not sure

Saves Resavd couldn't confidently file. You choose where they go in one tap.

Smart search

Search by meaning: “that salary thread” finds it even without those exact words.

Weekly digest

An optional email with a few saves you'd forgotten about.
